Alice Lena Hiepko was born in 1998 in Hannover as the daughter of two actors and grew up in her father’s theater, an environment that profoundly influenced her artistic development from an early age. As a child and teenager, she began acting in short films and theater productions, gaining her skills through hands-on experience in projects such as Flummi (Finn-Ole Heinrich) and Der Fischer und seine Frau (Klecks Theater Hannover).
After completing a voluntary service in Uganda, Alice spent two years in Berlin, honing her skills through workshops in acting for both theater and film (e.g., Roth Coaching), while also participating in independent theater projects (e.g., FELD Theater, TiK).
Since then, Alice has performed in a variety of theater productions (e.g. UNTENRUM at Klecks Theater Hannover, Wir beide wussten es war was passiert at Theater Fenster zur Stadt), short films (e.g. Abschied, NORA), and worked as a supporting actress in commercial films (Google) and docudramas (NDR). She has also gained experience as a voice actor in two audio dramas.
Alice completed a performance-based Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies and Aesthetic Practice from the University of Hildesheim (2019-2023), with a focus on theater and film. She is the co-founder of the theater and performance collective SPLITTER and has developed her first own theatre play in 2022.
Since 2023, Alice has been based in Berlin, where she is pursuing a Master’s in Cultural and Media Management. She also spent a semester studying International Dramaturgy in Amsterdam. Currently, she is developing a classroom play on the topic of sexuality for schools in Berlin and Brandenburg.
